MAINTENANCE FREE DRY BATTERY 150AH Newmax 150AH
The capacity of a battery (AH) is represented by the result of the discharge current (A) and discharge time (H) until the final discharge voltage is reached. |

BThe capacity of a battery is subjected to the influence of ambient temperature and the discharge rate. Low temperatures (below 5℉, -15℃) may reduce the available capacity and high temperature (over 122℉, 50℃) may damage the battery. The above figure shows an example of the effect of temperature on capacity for the range of 4℉ - 104℉ (-20℃ - 40℃). The rated capacity for 20℃ is 100%. |

The use of the Pb-Ca based alloy grid results in a very low self-discharge rate. The average self-discharge rate per day if left charged ofr six non-use months is about 0.1% (20℃). The above figure shows an example of the self-discharge rate for ambient temperature. If the battery is not used for a long period of time, recharge it as least once every 6 months. The following table contains the recommendable recharge intervals.

The number of cycles(charge and discharge) depends on the depth of discharge, operating temperature and the charging mothod. The above figure shows the relationship between depth of discharge and number of cycles. |

As the life of battery for floating application is greatly affected by voltage, care must also be exercised to maintain an appropriate working temperature, because it greatly affects the life of the battery.
